Building a Stronger Cooperative Financial Sector
The Savings and Credit Cooperative Union League of Tanzania (1992) Ltd is the umbrella organization for SACCOS in Tanzania Mainland.
Established in 1992 under Cooperative Act No. 15 of 1991, SCCULT is mandated to educate and train, represent SACCOS in key forums, mobilize savings and lending, and provide research and accounting services.
The organization also supplies essential stationery and equipment while leading lobbying and advocacy initiatives that contribute to the development and welfare of SACCOS.
